Harrisburg lost its MVP Dave Jannuzzi to a neck injury minutes into the game but the Horizon were not to be denied. Chris Rodgers stepped it up and recorded his season-high 27 points that included eight free throws in the last minute of play to clinch a 107-99 win for the Horizon. The game see-sawed back and forth throughout and was tied at 89-All with four minutes left. Mike Shue and Kevin Rowe hit key three-pointers in the last two minutes to push the Horizon ahead for good. Rodgers then took over at the foul line. Vernon Sharper made five three’s on his way to a game-high 30 points for the losers. Phil Gephart added 25. Delaware and Harrisburg will share the EBA crown with 9-1 records. Pictures from the Final Game |
