Text Box: Horizon 3-0 After Beating Lakers

Even without the services of David Jannuzzi and Micah Davenport, the Harrisburg Horizon won in convincing fashion, 131 to 102, over the North Jersey Lakers.

Kevin Rowe led the five starters who scored in double figures for the Horizon with 31 points. Brad Merriweather scored 24 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for Harrisburg. Chris Rodgers had a team-high 9 assists to go with 22 points.

The Lakers played close through the first 17 minutes, but Harrisburg pulled away to a 72-46 half-time margin.

Wayne Bucknor led the Lakers with 20 points in a losing effort.

Harrisburg travels next to Delaware to play the Destroyers on Saturday, February 3rd.
