Harrisburg Horizon - News |

|
The Alexandria Avengers came to town as a last minute replacement for the scheduled Camden Pride and left with a heart-stopping, come-from-behind victory over the Harrisburg Horizon, 113-110. The Horizon held a commanding 84-71 lead after three quarters thanks to the hot shooting of Dave Jannuzzi, who recorded 7 of his 8 three-pointers during those quarters. The tide turned in the 4th quarter. Alexandria avenged their loss to Harrisburg two weeks ago by outscoring the Horizon 42 to 26 – a whopping 16 point difference. The Avengers were led by Tyree Harris, who had 25 points and kept control of the floor and the team after the Avenger’s coach was ejected. Harris hit 8 straight 4th quarter foul shots to spark a comeback. While Harris was hitting from the foul line, Justin Moore and Brandon Woolen couldn’t miss from the floor. Moore hit 12 of his 18 and Woolen contributed 12 of his 14 to clinch the victory. Dave Jannuzzi had a game-high 30 points for the Horizon whose league-leading record now stands at 7-2 with one game remaining at North Jersey.
